Liquid Energy

Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website, liquidenergy.world, is operated by Liquid Energy Canada Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Kitchener, Ontario ("Liquid Energy", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we handle and why. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Cloudflare may show us limited traffic and security information, such as request totals or details of blocked requests. We use it only to operate and protect the site.

What we do not do

In limited cases, our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie, for example during a browser security check. It is not used for advertising.

How we use it

We will ask for your consent before using your information for a new purpose, unless the law allows otherwise.

Writing to us does not put you on a mailing list. We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). To unsubscribe, reply to any message from us or write to saj@liquidenergy.world.

Your consent

By emailing us, you consent to our use of what you send for these purposes. By visiting the site, you consent to the processing of technical data needed to deliver it and keep it secure. In limited cases, the law allows or requires us to collect, use or disclose information without consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits and reasonable notice. If you do, we may not be able to continue our conversation.

Who we share it with

Storage outside Canada

Our service providers and host may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. Cloudflare operates data centres worldwide, so technical data may be processed in other countries too. Information held outside Canada may be accessed by authorities there under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, such as ongoing discussions, business records or legal obligations. Then we delete it or make it anonymous. Cloudflare keeps technical data according to its own practices.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information, and we limit access to people who need it. No storage or transmission method, including email, is completely secure. Please do not email us sensitive information, such as health or financial details, unless we ask.

Your rights

You can:

To make a request, email saj@liquidenergy.world. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within 30 days, or any longer period the law allows. If we refuse a request, we will explain why, unless the law prevents us. If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

Children

The site is intended for a business audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
